We enjoyed an unscheduled day. The morning was spent in Kapalua snorkeling and hiking the nature trail, which is next to the Ritz Carleton. I think these are the best pictures so far. This northwestern corner of Maui has become my favorite. We saw more great fish including two Moorish Idols,
yellow tangs,
a spotted box pufferfish,
and a needlefish.

The afternoon was spent in Lahaina town eating at Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Then in the evening, we relaxed by the oceanfront at our condo, enjoying the sunset and some whale watching from land. (This is the view from the lanai of our condo. The other pictures below were taken sitting on the ledge by the edge of the ocean, to the left of the hut in the photo below.)
